AI is changing work. Are your people ready for whatโs next?
Hallo there,
Autumn is here. Calendars are filling up, inboxes are back to full speed, and summer already feels a little too far away.
The world certainly didn't stand still while we were gone, especially when it comes to AI. As organizations introduce new tools and new ways of working, getting back to work doesn't simply mean returning to the old routine. It means understanding how employees are adapting, where they're getting stuck, and what they need to move forward.
This month, we're looking at what organizations can learn when they listen more closely:
Plus, explore the latest Effectory product updates, including the AI Adoption Scan and Focus View for managers. So grab a coffee, reopen those tabs you ignored all summer, and letโs get into it. โ

AI adoption is not a software problem
Many organizations can tell you how many AI licenses they've purchased or how often employees use AI tools. Far fewer can answer a more important question: Are people actually changing the way they work?
In this blog article, we explore why AI adoption is first and foremost a people challenge, and why measuring usage alone can create a dangerous illusion of progress.
What happens when you look beyond AI usage metrics and start listening to employees?
When we surveyed our own employees about their experiences with AI, we discovered something surprising: they were enthusiastic about it, but still needed help turning that enthusiasm into confidence, capability, and lasting habits. Those findings changed our approach and led us to develop the AI Adoption Scan.
Read what we learned and how employee insights revealed what AI usage data alone could not.
New guide: The HR Business Partner's guide to less firefighting and more strategic impact
HR Business Partners are being asked to do more than ever: support managers, guide change, advise leadership, and turn people insights into business decisions. At the same time, they are often working with fragmented information and responding to issues as they arise. That makes it difficult to move from firefighting to more strategic work.
Our latest guide follows the everyday challenges of an HRBP, from supporting AI adoption to responding to declining team performance. It explores how better employee insights can help managers take more ownership, while giving HR a stronger basis for where to focus its time and expertise.
How Da Vinci College turned feedback into visible change
Da Vinci College wanted more employees to take part in its surveys and trust that their feedback would lead to change. So it made listening and follow-up part of how the organization works. Survey results are discussed at every level, teams create action plans based on their own needs, and progress is monitored over time. This approach helped Da Vinci College increase its response rate from 70% to 85% and its eNPS from -18 to +2.โโ
How did Da Vinci College build that trust and keep feedback alive after the survey closed?โโ
Focus View gives managers a condensed overview of their teamโs results. It shows how the team is doing, highlights up to three focus areas, and recognizes results worth celebrating.
For each focus area, managers can explore recommended actions and add one to the Action Planner. They can also create their own action.
(Note: Focus View is available for customers who have conducted a Smart Organization Scan or Strategic Fitness Model Scan.)
Participant sampling lets you invite a random group of employees to a survey instead of inviting everyone. This helps you collect feedback more often while reducing survey fatigue.
You can use it for both single and recurring surveys. You can also update the sampling percentage, selected groups, frequency, or duration across all future surveys in a recurring series.
The Question Library gives central and project coordinators one place to browse the questions, topics, variables, and translations available in their project. It's currently available in read-only mode.
The next release will introduce more ways to manage survey content directly in My Effectory, including adding custom questions, organizing questions and topics, and managing custom translations.
Survey Creation is also getting an updated look and more flexibility. Youโll be able to reorder questions and topics, browse the Question Library without leaving the creation flow, and get a clearer view of your questionnaire as you build it.
